__If__ the (ARP, etc.) directories are working copies, then use exporting.
This was what the script was doing with CVS (removing CVS directories
etc.)

If there aren't any .svn directories, then the behavior is exactly
same than what it was, so no functional changes here.

But of course this matters mostly for you, so please do with it what
ever you like. At the moment, It should behave the exactly same way
than previously with source code extracted from tarballs.
