This is my work machine, rather than my home machine. I wonder if
there's something flaky about its build environment. As far as I know,
both machines are XP, both running VC6 with the same MS SDK, using the
same build scripts. The only difference between the machines are:

   1. home machine is real, work machine is Virtual PC.
   2. home machine is XP-sp1, work machine is XP-sp2.

I think #2 is more likely to affect things than #1. :-)
