Hm, on that idea of user id vs lock token, I'm reminded that
apparently a bunch of users find it useful to for multiple users
to share a working copy. How will that work with the locking
system?

I myself (and my users) don't do that. I'm just anticipated that
if it's not considered yet, it might need to be.

(Apologies if that's address in the documents I haven't read. I've
just been following along on this mailing list.)
