Chris, rather than make you submit it again, I have just committed nearly all of your patch in r11214.

I left out the removal of spaces before </para> because it only covered a few of them, and I removed the unmatched parenthesis, and I used my wording "valid only for local repositories", and I wrapped a couple of words onto an adjacent line to reduce the number of lines changed by the patch.

I hope that's OK with you.
