Nightly tests are usually scripted, in which case who cares how many
steps it takes to build all of the bindings. And testing has very
little to do with most people (who assume the software is as good as
every says it is and just want to install it ;).

I'm mostly being a devil's advocate here; I think it is a good thing to
make the bindings easier to build (since I do both Python and Perl on
every machine where I install Subversion).
