This same thing was reported last summer and I entered a bug for it in the
tracker, bug # 1456
http://subversion.tigris.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=1456
but I never could actually see the /home/david or /home/dsummers in the
executable even though I looked with the "strings" program. The problem
probably has something to do with the way the executable is built, but I'm
not using any special flags to build it and I'm not sure how to affect
that.

If you would like me to re-open the issue I can do that. However we will
need to figure out some way to:

1. See the bad path in the executable so we can verify it is gone when we
fix it.
2. Figure out some combination of compile settings that disable or "fix"
it.

If you (or anyone) would like to work with me on that then I'm willing to
give it another shot.
