Wow, I feel dumb. You are *so* right. I misremembered freezing trunk
for a month, but looking at log messages now, I see we didn't. I guess
it just *felt* like trunk was frozen. :-)

If I had remembered this, I wouldn't have even brought up the question
of what to freeze. Doh!
