The SVN_ERR_BAD_PROP_KIND error message is used in svn_wc_prop_get() and
svn_wc_prop_set() in subversion/libsvn_wc/props.c and a "can't happen"
situation in svn_categorize_props() in subversion/libsvn_subr/sorts.c .
It is used when a svn_wc_prop_get() or svn_wc_prop_set() is called with
a property name which is an entry property, for example svn:author or
svn:date . It is not used if it is a regular/unknown property, except in
the "can't happen" situation in svn_categorize_props(). So maybe this
would be better?

 #: include/svn_error_codes.h:809
 msgid "Unexpected or unknown property kind"
-msgstr "Uventet eller ukjent type egenskap"
+msgstr "Uventet eller ukjent egenskapstype"

This way the message describes the situation a little better, a reserved
property was used instead of a regular property.

Indeed. I didn’t think of that.

That sounds as a good alternative.

This message is used in harvest_committables() in
subversion/libsvn_client/commit_util.c if a commit candidate is not a
regular file or directory. In this case, maybe the English message
should have the "entry" word replaced by "node"? Or even changed to

"Unknown node kind for commit canditate '%s'"

which may describe the situation better.

In the meantime, maybe the Norwegian message could be changed to "Ukjent
nodetype for '%s'" to describe what really happens, but that is maybe
too different from the Engslish message. What we need is a decent word
to describe a unit which can be a file, directory or any other entry
that can be part of a file system. This unit can exist both in the file
system or the repository. "Filenhet", maybe? "Ukjent type for filenhet
'%s'". Hm.

I'll send a new patch as described in my other mail some minutes with
some suggestions.

Thank you. :)
