Note that no one (as far as I can tell) was proposing that the SVN
book use the word "Unices". I used the word in a post on this list,
which is an informal setting -- exactly the sort of setting where the
word was created, probably.

Btw, Michael, the word *has* appeared in published, printed books, if
one wants to treat print media as more authoritative than other media.
