I am fine with the Java and Win32-fu. My Python is not so good. I have
not yet tried to unterstand how the Win32 projects are build.
What about the SWIG/java build? I have seen that it is included in the
main buildsystem right now.

The old automake build system could be yanked from the trunk right now.
It is only used for the now Windows build, and for that we have got the
integrated build. For the windows build we have other files. I think I
may delete it over the weekend.
