I started writing a patch, then decided it might be better to ask around.

Basically ,svn up needs to be run twice to complete an update if it tries to
delete a versioned directory containing unversioned/modified files; it
actually removes the directory from ".svn/entries" the first time.

Sussman suggests in the issue log that, 'svn update',
(a)should continue when it finds unversioned/modified files,without printing
anything,
(b)could for consistency, leave files after unversioning them

Any other suggestions ?
