I'm very afraid that by throwing the bindings onto an island, it'll be out of
sight and out of mind. Hence, the quality of the bindings will be hurt as the
'core' team won't be thinking about the bindings. Bindings that have a
dedicated maintainer(s) (such as Perl) won't be as hurt; but those that don't
(Python) are going to be very hurt. (Want to place bets on Greg or myself
tracking another active list?) -- justin
