It hasn't been all that long in the scheme of things, especially given the
mound of post-vacation email that has accumulated. I felt it most
important to get some votes recorded.

Properly and respectfully responding to your queries and describing my
reasons takes a lot more time. You don't deserve a flip answer, so I don't
want to give you one. I had hoped to have more time today, but that wasn't
in the cards. This evening... sure.
