And I like it. =)

I have found it really convience to look out the status of pending things
from STATUS of apr/apr-util/httpd. And I think it is quite nice to
have all of the issues in one file, where you can easily glance at
them, in one place.

So I am
+1 for svn/1.0/STATUS
+0.5 for issue tracker
-1 for STATUS in separeted repository

Just for grain of salt for your statistical sample.
