SVN runs slightly slower on Windows across the board, but the most significant
problem that I've noticed is that using the svn+ssh to access the repository.

The last time I ran a comparison, I compared the FAT32 performance on Linux 2.4
vs FAT32 on Windows 2000 and found that Windows was roughly 30% slower across
the board for all operations that examine the working copy. Of course, the last
time I ran this test was over a year ago and the results could be extremely
different now.
