Charley,

Do you want to work on this together? I've been digging too and you've got
some good ideas I hadn't thought of. Even if it's not implemented
immediately, it's worth exploring the concept of summaries.

Do you want to take this off list while we hash it out?

I think this would be a fun reason to tackle the innards of the API.
