Ok then...

Please change the directory, I've had to put up with this for months.
Saying "lets wait for microsoft to change their software to help out an
open-source project that competes with one of their products" and "don't
version control those project directories" just aren't sound arguments.

The way I figure it, changing the file to be named something else on
windows is actually a benefit, since you will get less bug reports from
people checking out repositories in one environment and using them in
another.
