No, of course not. I merely could not think of something else at that time.

It seems, the problem was a hanging, invisible cygwin process. It locked the file "cvs2svn-data.s-revs" in the "tmp" directory. So it could not be cleaned up by cvs2svn. And in those file have been this "cygdrive/d/..." paths.

Now I get another mysterious error (IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'cvs2svn-data.s-revs').
Both with Python 2.2 and 2.3. (http://www.python.org/2.3/)
But don't mind. I will use Linux to convert my repository when this issue 1421 has been fixed.
