Well, "mostly stable" seems good enough here.

(Just playing Devil's Advocate ... if this hypothetical evil
administrator really did reconfigure the syntax to something else,
then wouldn't that invalidate any URLs recently sent out in
redirects? So, for example, if you visit an HTML document by grace
of such a redirect, and then while you're perusing it Dr. Demento
reconfigures, and then you click one of those embedded, relative
hyperlinks ... that ends up being an error, not cleverly
re-re-directed to the new URL?)
