svn authorization in unlucky order ..

doing an "svn up" on a larger working copy is suboptimal if you don't store passwords, as svn
first does something (i guess creating 20.000 lock files), and then contacts the server and asks
for username and password. sometimes it asks a second time in a minute or so ... and then starting
updating files.

it would be much nicer, if auth could be done immediately, and just once.
