Not sure what the problem is, svnshell.py is working fine for me with
my HEAD installation:

$ ./svnshell.py /usr/local/svn/bigrepos
<rev: 6445 />$ ls
   REV AUTHOR NODE-REV-ID SIZE DATE NAME
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
  2755 kfogel < wz.0.24j> 1331 Jul 28 01:37 README
