0.21.0 / Win98 / svn co error

Hi all,
when checking out on a (czech) win98 box calling
   svn co file:///home/svnrepos/loc_navi_gpsrec c:\home\maly\loc_navi_gpsrec
I get the error message:

C:\home\maly\bin>svn co file:///home/svnrepos/loc_navi_gpsrec
c:\home\maly\loc_n
avi_gpsrec
svn: Tato funkce je p°Ýpustnß pouze v re×imu Win32.
svn: Error getting UID

How can I work around this? Any hint is highly appreciated.
