i would guess 95% of windows use is command line. tortoise still
crashes too often (even if you do have tortoise installed).

i would very much appreciate if windows users are allowed to speak
for themselves ;)

the 20 i know are quite aware of "hide" or "unhide" and are doing it
if necessary. and everybody would appreciate if this would be hidden.

windows users are able to write software (otherwise they would not
need version control ...) and therefor are NOT (necessarily) 12
o'clock flashers.

the endless discussion stops immediately if you have an issue for
hiding .svn. most (all?) comments for "don't" hide on windows come
from *nix users ....
