Sorry if this turn of events leaves you sour, Philip. I imagine we'll
suffer plenty more of these inabilities to recognize genius the first
time 'round in the future. :-)

Regardless, the new syntax has been coded (did it on the train ride
home). Running tests now (and then will follow with some
hand-testing).
