RE: Building on Windows

Ok, I will start spending some time learning the generator -- I only know enough python to be dangerous, though, so it may take a bit.

Is there some trick to getting a dsp for mod_dav_svn? I can't get one generated at all for some reason.

Greg Stein is "it" fer getting the generated .dsp and .vcproj files
working, but I'm sure he can use some help. :-) It would be great if you
could test the current generator, and report specific problems.

The ones I know about for "-t dsp" are

    * the output directories for the binaries don't mirror the source
tree (this is necessary to make the Python tests work)
    * there's no version info in the generated .exes and mod_dav_svn.so
    * mod_dav_svn is generated with the .dll extension, not an .so extension
    * the debug build doesn't link with the debug BDB libraries
    * looks like building hashdump-test is still broken (the "missing
entry point" thing); dunno what happened here, last time I built
      it it worked fine.
