I think it depends on the browser. IE6 is using a low-level feature
of the operating system itself (webfolders). I doubt Mozilla can do
that. It's probably some special link format that only IE6 understands.

Wouldn't it be easier to create a web page that simply describes how
to webdav-mount the repository using the OS itself? You could post
mounting instructions for Win32, OS X, Gnome, etc.
