Dunno. For me, it was. It was what triggered me (beside the general
interest) to get my hand dirty with the source , after playing around
with Subversion for a while. - Sure enough, it showed to be a trivial
change.
(Yeah, I can see the jokes coming: "We have to keep it that way in
order to get people involved..." :-)

Hm. Maybe the problem is that it is "similar enough". For the majority
of tasks I can type ahead (based on CVS and a bit Subversion
knowledge) and it simply works. With, e.g. Bitkeeper I did not have
similar problems, because I had to struggle to keep the overview of
its working... no "intuitive" (to me) usage.

I agree. That was why I asked people for a better idea... I just did
not have any.

All that said, I don't feel strongly about it. Or wait, I feel
strongly about it, but realize that it is a personal thing, so don't
intent to get on the nerves of everybody any further.
