If it's 'file server' why is it 'filename'?

IMO, it should be 'file server' and 'file name'. The noun is 'name'
and it's being modified by 'file' as an adjective to describe what
type of 'name' is being referenced. Same goes for 'file server'.

I can live with 'fileserver' and 'filename' if that's the concensus/
decision of those actually writing the book, but I'll at least cast a
+1 for consistency if my +1 for 'file name' is voted against :)

As for 'can not' vs. 'cannot' my prefererence is for the former vs.
the latter, but either is acceptable according to Webster's :)
