Right. To each their own.

Instead of saying, "wow. you shouldn't do that", a nicer response might be,
"cool. anything you need?"

More GUIs is fine. Yes, it would be nice to get more eyeballs on the SWIG
stuff, but his entire project is predicated on *not* using them. I'd say
right off the bat, people should have understood that SWIG wasn't going to
be an option for Harald.

btw, Harald: people probably aren't commenting on the *GUI* because I bet
most people haven't tried it (yet). It is easy to comment on approach, but
commenting on the code requires downloading and building it :-)
