Re: Obstructed update; object of the same name already exists

From: Matthias Bauchinger <matthias.bauchinger_at_chello.at>
Date: 2003-03-11 01:51:33 CET

Client: version 0.18.1 (r5118) .Windows XP prof.,
Server: version 0.18.0 (r5009). REDHAT Linux 8.0, Apache 2.0.44

only sub-dirs(with files) were added to the "External"-dir...

the structure of my WC was:

FakedReality
               | - Bin
               | - External
                         | - Dx9
                                 | - Include
                                 | - Lib
                         | - Jpg
                         | - Python
               | - Source
                         | - ..........

and on the server the new WC:

FakedReality
               | - Bin
               | - External
                         | - Dx9
                                 | - Include
                                 | - Lib
                         | - Expat
                         | - Jasper
                         | - Jpg
                         | - OpenExr
                                 | - Half
                         | - Python
                                 | - Include
                                 | - Lib
                         | - Zlib
               | - Source
                         | - ..........

so as you can see, only dirs were added.....there were no changes in the
existing dirs
the strange thing is, that svn can update all other dirs (where changes in
dir- and file-content were made)
As the admin told me, he can update the WC on his client without problems.
His version: Windows XP home, 0.18.1 (r5118)

Any info missing?
