"svn update" fail on windows xp

Hi I´m trying to access a repository on a linux server from an XP
machine. When I first make svn co and svn commit there is no problem.
But if i do a svn update then i get the following message.

svn: RA layer request failed.
svn: REPORT request failed on /svn/sim_demo
svn: The REPORT request returned invalid XML in the response: Unknownt
'repository-uuid (in http://subversion.tigris.org/xmlns/dav/)'. (/svn)

Can anyone give a hint of what the problem is?
