Just a process note:
It's helpful if you can include a pointer to the original thread in
the mailing list archives. True, anyone could go dig up the thread...
but that gets back to the whole purpose of having a Patch Manager: N
developers could spend that effort N times, or the PM could do it once
and everyone benefits :-).
(I think you're doing a terrific job, btw! It's been such a relief to
see all these loose ends finally being organized so thoroughly. So
please understand that the above comments don't stem from
dissatisfaction, I'm just pointing out a possible improvement.)
