Issuezilla protocol

Having just participated in some issue discussion, I find that I hate
Issuezilla (which is no surprise, I've never met an issue tracker I
liked).

The question that arises is:

Is it ok to respond to mail from issues@, replying to dev@, or should I
try and make comments via Issuezilla?
