Oh, I'm sure we can dump them into the same place our new repository
templates wind up... ;-)

That's not Glenn's fault. We went over all this before, and we were
more than willing to give him a branch, but we wanted to see some
smaller patches for trunk-ready concepts first. There are a couple of
more steps to Glenn's changes that should be applied to the trunk
first, *then* a branch made for the experimental stuffs.
