It won't be compatible. Prior to 1.0, it's easier if we don't worry
about ra_svn protocol compatibility. (Well, maybe the cutoff for that
should be beta, not 1.0. But I don't think we're there just yet.)

However, as a side point, I do have a marshal.c change almost ready (I
have to merge it with Eric's changes and test again) to allow optional
fields in tuples. That will make it easier to make compatible changes
to the protocol.
