I don't think anyone else is either. The issue is about tabs (and
newlines, although nobody mentioned it), which could have more practical
relevance.

This is an implicit choice as a concequence of storing filenames as XML
attributes, without providing some supplemental escape mechanism.

 (assuming I understand this correctly).
