CVS & TAR

Hi !
Here is an issue that annoyes me :
Why tar does not include CVS directories in tar file ?

I would like to create a tarball of a development directory (src, resources
with CVS dir) to send it to friends, but CVS dir are not included in the
tarball.
(I use the ant task tar do to this, but I get the same result with the tar
command line).
What can I do ? Is there an option within tar ?

Perhaps you would be able to answer me...

And what about the behaviour of subversion directories with tar ?
