diffing and merging files that have svn:eol-style = CR  on non-CR
platforms (Unix, or Windows)
 
Looking at the diff-2.8.1 source code, I don't think this is likely to
work as one would expect. The merged file is likely to get extraneous
LFs. The constructed diff is certainly going to contain extraneous LFs.
