Well, I don't know about "drowning" -- most of the bugs these days are
pretty quick fixes that do not require extensive changes -- but yes, a
big +1 on what Ben said :-).
We have enough work to do for 1.0 without adding optional text-bases.
I have to admit, I think if more of the participants in this thread
actually tried to implement optional text-bases in libsvn_wc, the
number of posts on the topic would drop rapidly.
