Just checked and yes it is é. How do I solve this though?

Is it just Ã, or é ? The second is the UTF-8 encoding of the file.

I am using SVN0.15, Apache2.0.43, RH Linux8.0.

The client is WinXP with SVN0.15.

I have an XML document containing French characters (i.e. é). This is added
from Windows to Subversion running under Linux. When the file is pulled down
to Linux the character is mangled (i.e. é converts to Ã). This must be a
problem with Subversion. Are there any workarounds or is it fixed in the
next release.
