Why don't you just filter on the From field or some other header?
There are plenty to choose from.

If it helps, here is the regexp I use, from my .gnus file:

     ("mail.subversion"
      "\\(^From\\|^To\\|^[Cc][Cc]\\):.*\\(dev\\|announce\\)@.*subversion")
