I have no sympathy. Read the INSTALL file; does it mention Berkeley DB
4.1.x anywhere? It does not. It does mention 4.0.14, though.

Seriously: We know about this problem. We're working towards supporting
both 4.0.x and 4.1.x, and it does in fact work in some cases, but not
always.
