Heh, I do have

    /usr/lib/libdb.so.2 -> libdb1.so.2
    /usr/lib/libdb.so.3 -> libdb2.so.3
    /usr/lib/libdb1.a
    /usr/lib/libdb1.so -> libdb1.so.2
    /usr/lib/libdb1.so.2
    /usr/lib/libdb2.so.3
    /usr/lib/libgdbm.a
    /usr/lib/libgdbm.la
    /usr/lib/libgdbm.so -> libgdbm.so.2.0.0
    /usr/lib/libgdbm.so.2 -> libgdbm.so.2.0.0
    /usr/lib/libgdbm.so.2.0.0
    /usr/lib/libpsqlodbc.a
    /usr/lib/libthread_db.so -> ../../lib/libthread_db.so.1

Hmmm...?
