OTOH, "type" is also a command in Unices (having a
completely different meaning than DOS's "type").

I think Subversion already has a Unix-centric view of
the world when considering "ls" and the syntax for
options. Although, I suppose there's nothing
preventing someone from creating a MS-centric client.
