I don't think this is just in merge! A while back I posted this:

Again, random garbage that causes Neon to vomit. I've seen this with
checkouts and updates. I still see it today occasionally. Sometimes I can
go days without problems, and then I'll get a few checkouts in a row that I
have to restart because it blows up mid-checkout. Something I noticed is
that it seems to happen more often after a fresh restart of Apache, if that
helps at all.

Anyway, I'm glad to know I'm not just on crack :)
