In my current environment, task branches are a no-no
(since they're a pain in CVS). Being able to work off
a local copy of the repo would essentially create a
local task branch thereby allowing me to checkin early
and often while not affecting the rest of the
repository users. Of course, Subversion lends itself
better to supporting task branches, but you can still
count my vote in for this feature being in 2.0 since
the feature would also help offline work.
