Is that the size of the repository, or the size of the working copy? If it's
the working copy, then that is expected, because Subversion stores extra
pristine copies of each file so that network access is not necessary for 'svn
st' and other commands. I don't believe 'svn st' would actually process all
of that 479M, since most of it is redundant.
