Btw, the "core team" is just whoever happens to take on issues like
this :-).

In other words, if you don't want to take it on because you don't have
time, that's one thing -- but if you do have time, go for it, and
don't feel that you'd be trampling on anyone else's turf. Anyone who
has suggestions will be happy to post them as you go.

You probably already know all this, I'm just posting it for others'
benefit. There is no issue so complex that it should be reserved for
some "core team". All issues are open to everyone.
