I think that it would be premature to create a gsvn project. Right now,
gsvn is just a 1500-line fun weekend hack. It would be great if it
developed into a nice and useful tool, but we aren't anywhere near that
point.

I'd prefer to wait until...

(1) ...it has a bit more functionality, i.e. it actually does something.

(2) ...I feel comfortable making more of a commitment to spent time
    working on it. The last thing the world needs is another orphaned
    free software project.

(3) ...there is an indication that anyone other than me has actually
    been able to successfully run gsvn. :-) Just because I don't want
    to give it the trappings of an official project yet doesn't mean
    that I don't want people to check it out and play around with it!
