None intended. Just straight talk.

I think I get where you're coming from ("let's fix CVS" + "an fs with
cheap tree copying captures a really useful abstraction for revision
ctl").

I agree.

I think you've botched some critical details .... blah blah blah. So
what, right? You're still on the track of fixing CVS, right?

It's been (I hope) worthwhile being rude here (sorry!) because I am
_that_ deeply concerned about the larger social and economic impact
of the design disagreement.

If it weren't for your overall level of success -- there would be
absolutely no point to raising a stink here.
